Charleston, SC
Visit

I’m glad the weather was gorgeous because
walking around downtown Charleston was very relaxing except for the smell of
horse excrement. Although, returning to my room at The Planter’s
Inn

made it all worth it. I enjoyed high-speed wireless internet access
in a very historic setting of wrought iron bistro tables on the 2nd floor
courtyard outside my room.

Monday
night I dined with my coworker Lisa at Anson’s
and the Sashimi Tuna I ate was so good, but the our waiter could of served us
just about anything because he was the catch of the day in my opinion.

A familiar sight is the US Custom
House just a couple of blocks away from the
hotel.

Everyone knows ‘my friend Anne,’
well passing this store on King Street, it made me wonder if she was secretly
running this place.

On Tuesday night I ate at a
restaurant called Fig. The Halibut I had for dinner was wonderful.
While eating dinner, by myself, a women suddenly sat down at my table. She told
me that her sister at the table across the room thought I was so cute and asked
if I was single. I said I was single but didn’t think I would make a good match
for her sister. Then about 15 minutes later, her sister comes and sits at my
table. The sister then proceeds to give me her ‘blueblood’ friends number who
she thought was so cute and suggested I should just call him for bar/restaurant
recommendations and tell him that Kit told me to call him. All I kept wondering
was why the really handsome man at the table next to mine didn’t join me and say
something similiar. Oh well, at least I met some locals, right?

The ceiling at Dudley’s bar. I’m
not sure what this means but I thought it was
interesting.

One of the locals. He was wearing
a T-Shirt with a chicken on it that said, “Wanna Cluck?” about 4 guys came up to
him and said, ‘the answer is YES!’.
