2005
attended the Inman
Park Festival in Inman Park, Atlanta’s first suburb. Of course, now
it’s near the heart of the city, and hard to believe but it’s
true.
I always enjoy this festival
because there are so many different kinds of people who attend of different
backgrounds, colors, textures, etc. - well after you see the pictures you’ll get
the point!
After a quick bite of
breakfast at Java Jive, my friend Lisa, her sometimes beau
Jon and I headed for Inman Park to meet up with friends we don’t get to see
often enough.
Emma enjoying her new
found swing

Jeremy, Nate and
Theresa
Jon was nice enough to take this
photo, it’s hard to remember the days when 6 of the 7 adults in this picture
worked together.

lisa and Jon after hitting the
beer tent.

Chris and Tami sharing a
moment

Little Nate exploring a beer
bottle … Mmmm, Beer!

Cute Redhead Guy, (I had to crop
his girlfriend out of the picture so I could pretend he’s
gay)

For those of you out there who
like festival food, how about a veggie corn dog and funnel
cake?

And now, pictures from the 34th
Annual Inman Park
Parade

Cute Blonde Guy (sorry I couldn’t
resist)

Hollis Gillespie is a Bitch -
whatever that means.

Ka-plah!! There Klingons in the
parade!

and the rarely seen blonde
one

What’s a parade without marching
bands? Not much fun, hit it girls!

It’s the burly asparagus
crew.

Well it was the only dress that
matched the red tow truck!

Brings a new meaning to riding a
horse

Happy Birthday
Carrie!!

I have GOT to get down to Whole Foods
more often, and with the $5 off coupon they passed out, I think I
will.

It’s a parade in Georgia, there’s
going to be a tractor in it

The Gay Marching
Band

A gay man blowing his own horn in
the middle of day… anyone? no? OK, I’ll
continue

Yes, another
tractor

Give Peace A
Chance

It’s supposed to a dove
symbolizing peace, let them alone
