Pensacola Pier – AFTER the Memorial Day Festivities

Today, I was in Pensacola, Florida. If I would have been there a fews days earlier, I would have been surrounded by countless homosexuals all carrying on and having a wild time which would have been fabulous.

I suppose that's the difference between personal and business travel - with one you get to pick the dates!

Pre-Memorial Day Drag at Burkhart’s

It's Sunday night before Memorial Day and none of us have to work tomorrow so we met up at Burkhart's for some drag.

On Saturday, Jeremy and I joined Blue Eyed Chris, Curry and gang at "Pacific Station" for the X-Menz Movie and some vino at the grape.

A Hot, Hazy day in Orlando

It's Florida, isn't it always supposed to be sunny and blue skies here? Well, when it's not thunder-storming. It's been hazy here since I arrived and it's been about 90 degrees.

One very nice thing about being down here is that for the first time in a very long time, I had a 5 minute commute to the client's office today despite having been thwarted by a passing train.

Today we got together to have brunch at Bab's and spend time with lisa before she heads to San Francisco.

Tonight, several friends got together at Meehan's in the Vinings to say "See You Later" to one of our very good friends, lisa. Miss lisa has accepted a great new opportunity that will take her to San Francisco. Did I mention my new iMac has a built-in iSight Web Cam?? Can you say video conference lisa??

Drive Back to Atlanta

Despite it taking 5 hours to get TO Huntsville, AL somehow it only took my 3.5 hours to return.

It was a beautiful day and I snapped a few photos on the way back.

I love computers and technology but I have to say that there is nothing more beautiful than the great outdoors. Maybe I just haven't been outside in a while but these "wide open spaces" were touching me profoundly on the drive back to Atlanta.

Miami Trip

I visited Miami, FL for work and the weather was so nice compared to Atlanta.
