We hiked from the Vogel State Park Trailhead up to Bear Hair Gap Trail and then to the Coosa Backcountry Trail to almost the peak of Slaughter mountain and then back.

And yes, I took a bunch of pictures of Roman for his fans out there - you know who you are, so comment on this post.

Oh and we saw another bear on this hike! It had it’s frightful moment but we lived to tell about it.

After the hike, we visited the Helton Creek Falls nearby.
