My first European vacation took me to España. I visited my cousin, his wife
and son who were incredible hosts to me on the island of Gran Canaria. 
Ivo flew in from Germany to keep me company and help me enjoy Madrid.

On this amazing trip, I spent time with family,
enjoyed famous beaches, walked in a desert,
ate dinner inside a mountain cave,
witnessed breath-taking vistas,
came face-to-face with priceless art from Spanish masters,
not to mention my own Spanish heritage,
walked in the footsteps of kings,
stood in the center of the Iberian peninsula
and ate freshly prepared, mouth-watering, delicious food.
